Safe Work Australia has announced that on 8 December 2011 members from each jurisdiction, as part of the WH&S Laws harmonisation process, endorsed by majority (subject to final technical and editorial changes) three Codes of Practice:

Once the codes have been approved by the Ministerial Council, they will become model codes.
